## About Theo

Theo (he/him) is an avid weightlifter who aspires to study kinesiology. Over the years, Theo has worked to find and create community as both a young transgender person and an athlete. He believes that the most empowering part of being a weightlifter is the opportunity to always strive for improvement and become a better version of himself.

Beyond the gym, Theo can be found with his family, friends, and pet rabbit, Gordon. He also writes poetry. Theo tells his story through his poetry and his advocacy. He believes that the most important thing you can do for transgender and nonbinary young people is to let them know that you love and appreciate them.
