Hayden

Hayden (she/her) is an 18-year-old Medical Esthetician student who has a passion for fashion, beauty, the arts, and skincare. Hayden describes fashion as a creative form of art and a method of self-expression. Some of her favorite hobbies are playing the piano, painting, and going on nature walks. Hayden also enjoys golfing and playing tennis with her older brother and cousins.

Hayden’s ultimate inspiration and motivation to share her story is driven by her Italian-American family, which has loved and supported her unconditionally throughout her journey. Since starting her advocacy journey, Hayden has been featured in national media, including USA Today, ABC News, and TLC’s I Am Jazz. She has also appeared in The Trevor Project’s “Stories of Pride,” content produced by the National Center for Transgender Equality, and more.

As a GenderCool Champion, Hayden has spoken at events like the The Promax Global Awards and Equality Federation’s annual conference. In 2022, she walked the red carpet at the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City and in 2024, she attended the White House Pride Celebration and marched in the Chicago Pride Parade, followed by a live interview with ABC7. Hayden has helped educate journalists and corporate audiences from across the nation of what it truly means to live as a transgender young person. She also completed a Reverse Mentorship”—a virtual co-learning opportunity—with software company Coupa.
