Lily (she/her) is a 16-year-old advocate, actor and artist. Whether painting, sketching, or sewing, Lily loves to do anything that brings out her creativity. Most recently, she taught herself how to crochet. As someone who enjoys style, design and working together with others to create something, she hopes to go into the field of fashion design. Lily is also an accomplished actor and appeared most recently as a co-star on the Disney Show “Ultra Violet and Black Scorpion.”

Lily chooses to speak out and be visible as a transgender teenager in the hopes that it will create space for other transgender young people to thrive. She is a community advocate for human rights and speaks at local and national events, including school board meetings and at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, and she has served on GLSEN’s National Student Council since 2021. She’s especially passionate about LGBTQ+ representation in books and works to educate people about the harm of censorship. Lily believes all people should have access to books where they can see themselves and learn about people who are different from them.
